| I
have two priorities:
And really, it's only one priority.
If you're having fun your photos will look great, and if your
photos look great it's because you were having fun. That's
why I take a candid approach to wedding photography; for almost
the whole day you won't hear much from me. I'm just watching
and carefully documenting what I see. If you're having fun,
that's what you'll see too.
Even while I'm shooting portraits I try to keep them lively;
I put away all the heavy lights and backdrops and try to lift
photography from the ranks of "necessary evil" by
focusing on creating an animated atmosphere with your loved
ones. It's like Thanksgiving, but with photos in place of food.
I've been refining the approach for a long time, but I'm still
not set in my ways. Even after photographing over 500 weddings
over the course of 10 years I continue to adapt my stylistic
choices to suit new clients with new taste, and my business
practices continue to evolve so that your experience with me,
from start to finish, is a seamless and happy one.
I hope you'll contact me about your wedding, either in the Boston
area or elsewhere, if you like what you see here. I can be reached
easily (and toll-free) at your convenience. Thank you for your
interest in Living Photography! |

James and I both absolutely LOVE these pictures! Wow, you are
such a talented photographer. Your images are really just gorgeous,
and captured the events and everyone´s emotions in such
a stylish and authentic way. We couldn´t be more pleased
with how they turned out.
Hi Phil. I hope you are having
a wonderful holiday season. Thank you so much for doing such
an amazing
job in Mexico. Robert and I absolutely love the photos. We could
not be happier with them. Thanks!
I hope that you are doing well. I
spoke to Robi Minogue over the weekend. We were talking about
what an amazing photographer you are and how great it was to
work with you. I often talk about you to people.
The pictures are amazing!, Thank you
so much, I love all of them, and again i've gotten so many compliments
about them and you.... Again, thank you so much for making such
amazing photos for me!
We really enjoy our photos and are looking forward to the album!
You have been such a pleasure to work with and we will definitely
be spreading the word to all of our friends in need of photography!

Thank you so much for photographing our wedding! We had a perfect
day and have so many great pictures to remember it by. It's been
hard to choose our favorites... we love them all! Thanks again!
Thank you for your talent. You have captured all our beautiful
memories of our wedding.
Your wedding pictures for Diana and Robert were just wonderful.
Thank you so much for the hard work that went into making so many
beautiful memories now captured forever!
We just returned this week from the honeymoon and we are blown
away by the pictures. They are absolutely beautiful and we are
both so pleased with how they turned out. Thank you! [and later,
following the album] If only everything else about the wedding
planning had been this simple! Thanks for being a great photographer
and for fitting very easily into our style. We're completely thrilled
with everything and have recommended you to so many of our friends.
Speaking of which, I believe we'll be seeing you next weekend
at [our friend´s]& wedding? Good ol´ West Virginia. |

I'm more than happy to accomodate any specific requests that you may
have: some clients come to me with requests for specific album
bindings their friends have purchased, and they're looking for the
same; others know exactly what coverage, prints, and albums they're
going to want; some even know who they want to design their albums.
I can (and do) accomodate all of these requests, but most clients
are after something a bit simpler, and that's where my pricing starts:
Everything you need comes with: unlimited
hours and exposures, travel within 90 miles of Cambridge, MA,
350 4x6" proof prints, an online gallery, a DVD that you
can use to make your own prints from and keep forever, and a free
engagement session for clients who choose me quickly after we meet. Discounts
are available for Fridays, Sundays, and weddings December-March, and
you can opt for a second shooter for $400 more. The packages below
include this coverage, and add albums and extras:
-Design, printing and binding of a 10x10" Bridal album
-$100 print credit
-Everything in the Memories package plus:
-Two 5x5" Parent album "clones"
-100 Thank-you cards with slip-in photos

| is about capturing
moments as they actually occur. The aesthetic is contemporary:
sometimes black and white, sometimes color, but always natural.
Phil Seaton's ten years working as a wedding photographer have
taught him how to find those cherished moments that make your
wedding yours. Even his portraits are intended to have
a natural feel: they are photographs of people interacting,
not people posing.
